Do you use a crockpot? If not, you should be! Crockpots make the best suppers.
I’ve tried a few different Dr. Pepper Beef Roast recipes but this is our family favorite and it’s so easy to make!
All you need to do is put a roast in the crockpot. We like to use bone-in chuck roasts or rump roasts but any roast will do. Season your beef with Silva Ranch Seasoning, but any steak seasoning should do. Pour in a can of Dr. Pepper. Then sprinkle a package of Lipton Onion Soup Mix on top. Put the lid on tight and let it cook for 4-6 hours on high or 6-8 hours on low.
When it’s supper time, remove the bones right before eating, toss any fat out and put your delicious beef over mash potatoes, rice or even a delicious salad. Yep, you can eat it over mash and then have it over a salad for lunch the next day. We’ve even made tacos with it.
Steaks get all the spotlight but give roasts a chance. They melt in your mouth. Now go get that crockpot out and put it to good use!
